EVENTS ART \| SCI LECTURES CAA / LEONARDO SESSIONS ARCO ‘06 ARTE CONTEMPORANEO RELATED EVENTS	October 24, 2005, 6 pm, EDA UCLA ART \| SCI CENTER PRESENTS: MEDIA & MEDICINE: ENVIRONMENT AND THE MIND -> Return to the speaker overview Eric Mercier Eric Mercier is a resident of Los Angeles, CA and has been active in community based projects for over 20 years. He entered social activism as a junior member of the Free South Africa Movement in 1984. He went on to serve as the Assistant Merchandising Director for the 1988 Jesse Jackson Presidential campaign. In 2005 he began working on The Witness For Wellness council in association with Healthy African American Families (HAFF). He is also on the Board of the Media in Medicine Council ((MMC) in association with Rand and U.C.L.A. Eric is an entrepreneur and social activist at heart. In 2004 he found a way to combine his two passions by becoming the founder and CEO of the Conscious Consumer Continuum. C3 is an elite association of business owners, social entrepreneurs, and non-profits who have joined forces under an international umbrella to promote Conscious Capitalism ideals under a single brand name (C3). -> more info about the Katrina project
