The Leonardo/ISAST Mentoring Roundtable Wednesday, February
22nd 2006.
The Mentoring Roundtable is designed to benefit the
professional development of the next generation of artists, scholars,
and researchers working at the intersections of art, science and technology.
Students and emerging professionals are encouraged to attend and to participate
in discussion related to the following areas:
(1) collaboration between artists/scientists/technologists
(2) essential connections/historical considerations
(3) marketing yourself in the job market
(4) teaching art/science/technology
(5) drawing/visualization/sonification/etc. across disciplines
(6) writing/communication (artists statements, practice-based research,
critical research, reviews, etc)
(7) academia or not?
