I can still recall the day I arrived at UCLA. Never did I ever expect that the next two weeks would go by so quickly and be so much fun. I have learned all sorts of new information about nanotechnology and have befriended a lot awesome people.
Of all the things I have gained here, one of the things I treasure the most is receiving is a refreshed enthusiasm for the future. Learning about nanotechnology has given me a new insight into what science and art can accomplish when combined.
Just watching the sci-fi movies and listening to instructors lecture about the most recent form of technology has shown me that I am in an age
where almost anything can be possible. Perhaps on screen, flying cars andhuman-replicant robots may seem far-fetched, but I learned that thinking about the future is all about “imagining the impossible”.
These last two weeks have been challenging, educational, and entertaining. I have been taught to see science in a more holistic view and to notice the mutual relationship between science and art. I’ll never forget what I was taught here, and hopefully one day I may used what I learned to contribute to the world.
