Today was another one of the better days as we did some hands-on experiments, in addition to the daily introduction that included some many concept technologies that may be coming in the future. I found Nokia’s morph a great example of innovation and creativity as it was a convenient device that served many purpose. Another  one of the inventions produced by scientist was the finger thing (forgot the name) the main feature that caught my attention was the ability to scan and find information on objects, including other people and find information about them. This was one of the things that I wouldn’t expect to come to be possible and so I learned to have more faith in the sciences when it comes to inventing a new device.

Later on in the day, our first attempt at creating a Ferro fluid did not work out so well, but when we did succeed, the results were fruitful. Losing interest after the first few minutes,  I came to learn the manipulation of a magnetic liquid such as Ferro fluid, similar to the moon’s pushing and pulling of the ocean,  can open many doors to the sciences and create a possibly new form of hydro power.

After the Ferro fluid experiment we then went on to creating litho grams with copper. I actually did not learn much from this experiment nor did I find it fun at all since we did not do anything ourselves. The litho grams are a nice thing to bring back home though.
