UCLA ArtSci team member and UCLA D|MA alumni Pinar Yoldas together with cognitive neuroscientist David Paulsen are exhibiting "Limbique" at the IEEE Visweek 2011 in Providence , Rhode Island.

"Limbique"  is a sculptural installation highlighting some of the lesser known but critically important components of the brain that belong to the constellation of structures known historically as le grande lobe limbique, a.k.a the limbic system. Starting from fMRi scans   the neural mechanisms of emotion arevisualized through a three dimensional interface that highlights the tangible and spatial aspects of the human brain which gives rise to the intangible and the volumeless .
