Attracted by Light

The International Kepes Society cordially invites You and Your friends to the lantern-slide premiere of the book entitled "Attracted by Light” in the „A 22 Gallery” (Budapest VII. Akácfa Street 22) on 24 May 2013.

We organized the first light symposium twenty years ago in Eger, in

the Kepes Museum. The core of the International Kepes Society

crystallized on these light symposiums, and the International Light

Workshop also came into being there. We organized the meetings in an

interdisciplinary manner, building on the base principle, which, since

the Bauhaus, through CAVS until today bears a particular challenge,

and which has only been increased by the high-technology revolution of

the last decades. We launch a book series entitled “Attracted by

light”. We would like to invite you to the book premiere of the first

volume, which contains a selection of the presentations held on the

light symposiums, and introduces the “International Light Workshop”.
