French Choreographer Kitsou Dubois, known for her projects in/with weightlessness, is preparing a duo with 2 planes from the prestigious acrobatics team of the French Air Force.
This project is within Marseille 2013, European Capital of Culture.
The creation is on May 26th at Salon de Provence for the 60th Anniversary of the Patrouille de France. The avant-première is at the Air Show of the Ferté-Alais on May 18th and 19th.
The Marseille 'Spring of the Scientists' is focused on art-science this year in the context of marseille 2013 european city of culture.

HYBRID IDENTITIES, an International Art Festival of Photography, Video Art, Computer Graphics, Architecture and Performing Art, will be held in the city of Edinburgh, at the creative space The Old Ambulance Depot, from March 29th 2013, to March 31st 2013. Fifty artists, from different countries, have been selected to be part of this project.
Since 2010 the Finnish Society of Bioart is organizing the ARS BIOARCTICA RESIDENCY PROGRAM together with the Kilpisjärvi Biological Station of the University of Helsinki in the sub-Arctic Lapland.
The residency takes place in the facilities of the Kilpisjärvi
Biological Station. It provides the residents with a combined living and
working environment, a basic laboratory, internet connection and sauna.

Art from Synthetic Biology is the cumulation of a doctoral research using synthetic biology and genetics in art production. As the first public art exhibition to feature living genetically modified microorganisms in the UK, it represents a milestone within bio art practices and highlights the challenges of putting such matter on display.
Come to the Royal Institution to experience living synthetic biology artworks. A special evening event on the 10th of April from 6.30pm will discuss the artworks and their context.
