Nam June Paik: Media Alchemy

This exhibition focuses on how Nam June Paik has transformed the video image since the 1970s. Beginning with his landmark Global Groove, 1974, the first artist video broadcast on television 35 years ago, to more recent large-scale installations. Paik continued to experiment with televisions and alter the screen image throughout his career. His unique sculptural/video approach has been a strong influences on future generations of artists creating video and installations.
