Ars Electronica Festival returns with the theme: Negotiating Humanity, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ars Electronica Center. Linz, Austria will once again become a hotspot for the international media art scene. Exhibitions, performances, concerts and conferences will be held at festival locations throughout the city.
On September 10, join the conversation: "ECOfem Media Art Stammtisch" chaired by four distinguished contributors to Transdiscourse 3: Women in Art, Science and Body Politics authored by Jill Scott, featuring Christa Sommerer, Claudia Schnugg and Victoria Vesna.
The next day on September 11, there will be a public workshop organized by NEWART foundation, in collaboration with Encyclopedia of New Media Art, Volume II by Artist and Practice editor Paul Thomas, joined by theme moderators: Jaime De Los Ríos, Victoria Vesna, Mike Phillips, Christa Sommerer, Laurent Mignonneau.
