History changed on October 4, 1957, when the Soviet Union successfully launched Sputnik, thus marking the dawn of the Space Age. With humankind gaining access into outer space for the first time in history, the launch of Sputnik changed the way we see our planet and we see ourselves in relation to the universe.

Choreography for 2 planes: May 2016, France

French Choreographer Kitsou Dubois, known for her projects in/with weightlessness,  is preparing a duo with 2 planes from the prestigious acrobatics team of the French Air Force.

This project is within Marseille 2013, European Capital of Culture.

The creation is on May 26th at Salon de Provence for the 60th Anniversary of the Patrouille de France. The avant-première is at the Air Show of the Ferté-Alais on May 18th and 19th.

NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR THE LEONARDO DA VINCI ARTS IN SPACE AWARDS

The Zero Gravity Arts Consortium welcomes international nominations for the next round of The Leonardo Da Vinci Arts in Space Awards.

These awards will be extended for the second time in history during
the 33rd Annual International Space Development Conference Awards
Gala, sponsored by the National Space Society and others that will
take place in May of 2014 in Los Angeles, California.
